BRIDGE CLOSURE – OLD SR 45 / CR-448A

OLD STATE ROUTE 45 / CR-448A WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC FROM SR 518 SOUTH TO SR 45 FOR A BRIDGE DECK RESURFACING. WORK WILL BE DONE BY SHOOK COMPANY, LLC. LOCAL ACCESS WILL BE EITHER SIDE OF THE BRIDGE PROJECT. COMPLETION DATE IS EXPECTED TO BE MAY 6, 2026.

ROAD CLOSURE- CALCUTTA SMITH-FERRY

Calcutta Smith-Ferry Road / CR-430 will be closed from CR-425/East Liverpool Rd east approximately .35 miles to the project limits. Access for local residences only and no through traffic. Construction expected to begin May 19, 2025 and end December 12, 2025.
Bridge Replacement

Bonesville School Rd (TR 1715) will be closed at Bunker Hill Rd. (TR 789) and Kelly Park Rd (TR 885) West to the project site. An access road was constructed around the project area for local traffic and delivery services only. Expected completion date is June 30,2025.

Signal Road Closure

The Columbiana County Engineer's Office will be closing Signal Road between SR 558 and Crestview Road in Fairfield Twp. for a box culvert replacement. The closure begins August 21, 2024 and could remain closed for up to 8 weeks.
CALCUTTA SMITHFERRY ROAD SLIP REPAIR

Traffic will be reduced to one lane with control systems in place to have alternating traffic patterns in both directions during construction. The closure is expected to end on June 28, 2024.
HOMEWORTH BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

GEORGETOWN ROAD (CR-400) IN HOMEWORTH WILL BE CLOSED FROM BAYARD ROAD WEST TO HOMEWORTH ROAD (CR-401) FOR PHASE 2 OF THE PROJECT. TRAFFIC SHOULD FOLLOW THE POSTED DETOUR. ESTIMATED COMPLETION IS NOVEMBER 3, 2023.
HOMEWORTH BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

MIDDLE STREET IN HOMEWORTH WILL BE CLOSED FROM MAIN STREET SOUTH TO GEORGETOWN ROAD (CR-400) FOR PHASE 1 OF THE PROJECT.
GEORGETOWN ROAD (CR-400) WILL BE CLOSED AT A LATER DATE FOR PHASE 2 OF THE PROJECT.
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE IS NOVEMBER 3, 2023.
Vincent Road Bridge Replacement

Vincent Road (TR-1610) will be closed between Teegarden Road (CR-411) South to Teegarden Road (CR-411) but will be open to local residents. The road will be open on both sides of the construction site. The project is expected to take ten (10) weeks, starting on May 16, 2023. The contractor is the Shook Company, LLC of Canfield, Ohio.
WATERFORD ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT

Waterford Road (CR-450) will be closed between Hamilton Rd (CR-431) Southwest to Boardman Street in New Waterford each day for a culvert replacement and will be open to local residences on either side of the project. Project is May 1, 2023 - May 3, 2023 between the hours of 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The road will be open to traffic in the evenings.
